U.S. stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Wednesday following President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress. Dow futures gained more than 100 points, with S&P and Nasdaq futures advancing 13 and 27 points, respectively. The indexes were poised to open at record highs. (Continue reading)
The Dow Jones industrial average saw futures rises 0.6% above fair value. Futures for the Nasdaq 100, Russell 2000 and S&P 500 also scaled up 0.5%.
Veeva ($VEEV) reported adjusted quarterly profit of 22 cents per share, a 5 cent a share beat. Revenue also topped forecasts but the provider of software for drug companies also gave a forecast for the year that falls partly below expectations, pressuring its shares.
LogMein ($LOGM) beats by $0.04, beats on revenue and it up +5% in pre-market.
